Fleshing out your ideas
WHAT IT INVOLVES: If you have a great idea, it’s useful to put some clarity around it by using the PIENAME template. The name derives from the original acronym for each of the sections of the template (see below). It's evolved since then, so the name no longer makes sense...but it's kind of catchy (maybe??).

WHY: The template helps you decide if the idea is practical, doable, and will meet the needs of your Customers or solve JTBD.

HOW:
Complete the PIEFRAME template by answering the following questions about your idea:

P) Problem: What is the problem you're trying to solve?

I) Idea: Describe your idea in a few sentences.

E) Execution: How would you execute your idea?

N) New: What's new or innovative about your idea?

A) Appeal: How and why will it appeal to your customer?

M) Money: How will your idea generate/save money for the organisation?

E) Evidence: Can you provide evidence to support that your idea will be effective?
